Recital Hall

1. Pricing

• Kawai Recital Hall: $100 for 1.5 hours. If you would like to book for longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes, please book two time slots.

• Overtime Charges: $35 per 15 minutes charged if the event exceeds the agreed-upon time.

2. Booking and Payment

• You must call Summerhays Music of Orem at 801-226-1760 or make a payment in-store to secure your booking. Payment must be received within 5 days of booking or the reservation will be void.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

• No refunds for cancellations.

​

4. Food and Beverage Policy

• Prohibited: No food or beverages are allowed in the store or recital hall. This includes during setup, the event, and teardown.

5. Capacity

• The recital hall can accommodate up to 60 people.

​

6. Setup and Teardown

• Set up/takedown time should be within the allotted time.

​

7. Equipment and Services

• Included Equipment: The rental fee includes use of one grand or upright piano, music stands, chairs, and electricity.

• Damage: The renter is responsible for any damage to the equipment or facility.

8. Conduct and Noise Levels

• Noise Policy: Please keep noise levels reasonable. Amplified sound is subject to approval.

• Behavior: All guests and participants are expected to behave respectfully. Any disruptive behavior may result in the immediate termination of the event without a refund.

9. Liability and Insurance

• The renter assumes all responsibility for the safety and behavior of their guests and agrees to hold Provo Music Center DBA Summerhays Music of Orem harmless from any claims.

10. Cleaning

• A cleaning fee of $70 may apply if recital hall is not left in the same condition as they found it in.

​

11. Decorations

• Only free standing, non-damaging decorations are allowed (e.g., no tape on walls, no confetti).

• Open flames, confetti, glitter, or any other items that could cause damage or require extensive cleanup are prohibited.

​

12. Parking

• Limited parking is available on-site. Renters and guests are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation.
