The Blue Note Big Band with Jaden Bueno

​Join us at Summerhays Music Center for an evening of live jazz featuring The Blue Note Big Band! This dynamic group of young musicians, ages 12-18, will bring the energy and excitement of big band jazz to life with their impressive skills and passion for music.

About the Director

Jaden is a native of Utah County and has been playing trumpet since the 7th grade. As a student, he participated in several honor groups, including the Utah All State Jazz Band, Caleb Chapman's Voodoo Orchestra, and the Crescent Super band. Jaden's also shared the stage with several jazz greats, including saxophonist David Sanborn and trumpet legend, Wayne Bergeron.

He received a bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance from Utah Valley University in 2021. While there he studied with instructors Kyra Sovronsky, and Dr. Ryan Nielsen. He has been teaching for the past 15 years and is well known in the music education community. When not teaching, he performs with several different bands of varying styles all around Utah. When not doing music, he loves spending time with family, being outdoors, watching Star Wars, and hot tubbing.
