Education is at the heart of everything we do at Summerhays Music. We’re proud advocates and sponsors of music education programs throughout Utah, and we work hard to foster a vibrant musical community.

Our education team travels throughout Utah Valley, Central Utah, and Southern Utah to service schools and teachers with their every need. We also host several clinics and workshops throughout the year, giving players rare opportunities to work with pro musicians and industry veterans.

Our History
Founded in 1970 by Briant Summerhays, Summerhays Music of Orem has served the music community in Utah County for over 50 years. The store began life as Provo Music Center, and later adopted the name of the original Summerhays Music Center founded by Briant’s parents.
But our mission has always been the same: support musicians and educators at every level by providing them with the products and resources they need to thrive.
