​I went in with a problem with my son's instrument and they were extremely helpful. They fixed it real quick while I was there and offered me a drink for coming in. They then had another employee help me from nd a new bow for my daughter. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful experience!

I came here looking for a digital piano and Michael was friendly and helpful while also giving me the space to try out the pianos on my own and decide which I liked best. I initially decided on a portable piano, the Kawai ES120, but once I started asking about adding a stand, bench, etc. Michael was quick to suggest a console piano of similar quality, the Kawai KDP75, that came with those accessories included and would be cheaper than buying the portable piano with the added accessories. It would have been so easy for him to upsell and let me purchase the portable piano with all the added accessories (which is what I was about to do without his guidance), but instead he was very honest and transparent and helped me find the instrument that was right for me. The KDP75 may have slightly fewer bells and whistles, but it is largely equivalent to the ES120 in all the ways that matter to me (sound quality and feel), and for a cheaper price overall. I'm very pleased with my purchase and with Michael's help.

We have been going to Summerhays for as long as we have lived in this area. They are really helpful in finding a good student instrument for children. They will take the time to make sure everything works out well. They have good prices and understand that some families may not have the largest budget, but still want their children to learn music.

What an awesome place! The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We even found a few fun things when we took our cello in to get a string replaced.

If you are looking for an excellent experience when shopping for musical instruments then this is the place. My son needed a new clarinet and we were so well treated by the staff. They make it so easy for him to try out the instruments. Setting it up on rent to own payments was a breeze. No huge hassle at all. Such a refreshing experience and one that you could not get from buying online (we've gone down that road already). We will go back in a heartbeat.

This place was surprisingly awesome! Most music stores just have lame pianos and guitars, but this place had a huge variety of instruments and accessories all at very affordable prices. The items we bought we actually got for about 20% cheaper than we could find online.
